EJMH

The European Journal of Mental Health (EJMH) is an international mental health journal established in 2006 by the Institute of Mental Health at Semmelweis University in cooperation with the publishing house ’Akadémiai Kiadó’. The Journal is published semi-annually (in June and December) in English and German.

Objectives and goals

        • to highlight the importance of preserving individual mental health as well as the role of communities and the social context;
        • to facilitate communication between human disciplines and experts working in Western and Central & Eastern Europe;
        • to present the significance of human disciplines (not only psychology and psychotherapy but also pedagogy, sociology, theology, arts, etc.) in the preservation and promotion of individual and community mental health.

EJMH is indexed by the following databases: APA PsycINFO, Cabell’s, CEEOL, EZB, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO, Embase, EMCare, ERA, Free Medical Journals, GALE, Genamics JournalSeek, Google Scholar, HINARI, Index Copernicus, Journals4Free, Matarka, Open J-Gate, Ovid, ProQuest and Scopus.

The Editorial Office awaits the submission of manuscripts that meet the objectives of the journal. In addition to members of the Editorial Board, other experts from relevant fields are also invited to serve as reviewers in the double-blind peer review process.
