A Dél-Kaliforniai Egyetem Alkalmazott Farmakokinetikai és Bioinformatikai Laboratóriuma (Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics and Bioinformatics, LAPKB) és a Laboratóriumi Medicina Intézet 2018. május 16-18. között tanfolyamot szervez a gyógyszerkinetikai modellezéssel egyénre szabott gyógyszerelés témájában. A 3 napos tanfolyamon Dr. Michael Neely, a LAPKB jelenlegi, valamint Prof. Roger Jelliffe, a LAPKB alapítója és korábbi vezetője mutatják be részletesen a nemparaméteres populációs gyógyszerkinetikai modellezéshez alkalmazott PmetricsTM, illetve az egyénre szabott gyógyszerelés teljes körű tervezésére és vezérlésére alkalmas BestDoseTM szoftverek használatát. A szemlélet és az azt megvalósító alkalmazások megismerése elsősorban a terápiás gyógyszerszint monitorozás, a kísérletes és klinikai farmakokinetika, a farmakometria, valamint a klinikai mikrobiológia területein kutatást végző kollégák számára kínál hasznos új ismereteket és módszertani lehetőségeket.

The Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics and Bioinformatics (LAPKB), University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA and the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Semmelweis University are pleased to announce the Workshop of the Individualized Therapy Approach Group (ITAG) to be held on May 16-18 2018. The workshop is expected to be of interest to experts of therapeutic drug monitoring, clinicians, academic researchers, pharmacometricians, applied pharmacokineticists, clinical microbiologists, as well as to graduate and undergraduate students interested in the field of pharmacometrics and applied pharmacokinetics. The instructors are Dr. Michael Neely, director, and Prof. Roger Jelliffe, founder and emeritus director, of LAPKB.
The topic of the workshop is the in-depth introduction of PmetricsTM, an R-based tool for nonparametric population pharmacokinetic modeling, and BestDoseTM, a standalone application for the comprehensive planning and control of individualized drug therapy. Participants will learn novel principles and a concise methodology for their clinical work and research.
