Call for abstract submission
3rd Central European Nursing Conference 2025 Budapest
14-15 November 2025
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another international journal or international conference.
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Oral presentation (15 minutes)
- Poster
At the review stage, the Scientific Committee may recommend a change in the presentation type submitted by the author, based on the quality of the submission and to ensure the continuity of the conference programme i.e. oral presentation may be changed to poster presentation OR poster presentation to oral presentation.
The presenting author will be informed of any change to their submitted presentation type at the acceptance notification stage and can accept/reject.
The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.
When submitting your abstract please keep the following criteria in mind:
- Title of the abstract (please keep it short and concise). Titles must be in title case: this means only using capital letters for the principal words. e.g. The Title Must Have a Capital Letter at the Start of Every Principle Word).
- Indicate your presentation type (oral, poster, workshop/symposia)
- Please choose the theme (listed below) that best aligns with your work. If your theme is not mentioned, please specify it in the abstract and add a keyword.
- Include the name, affiliation, and job title of Presenting Author (this person will act as the main contact for this abstract)
- Include the name, affiliation, and job title of co-author(s)
- Abstract word limit is up to 300 (no references needed) excluding Title, Authors and Affiliations. Graphs or tables are NOT to be included in the abstract.
- Please specify the corresponding author with whom the conference committee will liaise.
Information under the following sub-headings is required for all Abstract submissions, except for theoretical/discussion papers:
ABSTRACT TYPE A: research papers Aim & Objectives Methods Findings/Outcomes Discussion/Conclusion Implication(s) for Practice
ABSTRACT TYPE B: theoretical/discussion /opinion papers introduction the reason for raising the issue proposed Discussion and supportive arguments Conclusions and take-home messages.
Abstracts will be published in the Conference Programme exactly as submitted and no corrections will be made. Please pay particular attention to grammar, spelling, and typography.
Format of the conference
The conference will be delivered in person only.
Oral Format
Oral presentations will be 20 minutes for the presentation, including questions from the audience.
Poster Format
Presenters are asked to take note of the following guidelines when producing their poster: Maximum poster size is A0 (0.84 x 1.19m) (portrait orientation).
- Keep text to a minimum.
- Ensure any text is in large font (minimum sixteen font).
- Use graphs, charts, and/or tables.
- Ensure contents have a logical flow.
- Posters will be displayed in an open area where conference attendees will have the opportunity to interact with presenters.

Submission of abstracts for scientific presentations

Deadlines:
Abstract submission deadline: Oct. 6th, 2025.
Abstract review deadline: Oct. 13th, 2025.
Applicants will be notified: Oct. 15th, 2025.
Application opens: Sept. 15th, 2025.
Presenters and early registration deadline: Oct. 5th, 2025.
Late registration deadline: Nov. 5th, 2025.
