Block schedules for 6th year Medicine students
Overview
- Students who wish to perform their rotations in already accredited hospitals that are listed at Request Forms in Approved Health Institutes for 6th year Rotations (table) only need to:
- submit the “Letter of acceptance” to the respective Semmelweis department,
- have it stamped and signed
- and turn it in or scan and email it
- to the Directorate of International studies Division of English Language Programs.
Each separate “Letter of acceptance” must be received by the Directorate of International Studies Division of English Language Programs at the latest one month prior to the start of the rotation program.
- You can do rotations in university departments or in teaching hospitals.
- The „Letter of acceptance” must be approved by the Semmelweis department and submitted to the Directorate of International Studies Division of English Language Programs 1 month prior to the rotation at the latest.
- Taking a final exam requires a proper Neptun exam registration.
- At the end of Pediatrics practice, you have to take practical exam one day before the final exam.The practical exam has to be taken at Semmelweis University (1st or 2nd Department of Pediatrics).
* Facultative 6 week course (elective practice) can be chosen from any subject and can be completed abroad. It can be completed at any Clinical Department or clinic. Major subjects that end with a final exam are also elective
