Open to 1st and 2nd year students of Albert-Szent Györgyi Medical School, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentristry and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Semmelweis University

 

Dear 1st and 2nd year Students, Future Szent-Györgyi Students,

The National Academy of Scientist Education (NASE) was established on September 1, 2021, with the support of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, to provide financial and educational assistance to outstanding Hungarian students in biomedical sciences throughout their university studies. The Semmelweis University (SE), the HUN-REN Institute of Experimental Medicine (KOKI) and HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences (TTK) are proud to support top students in these fields. As part of this commitment, SE, KOKI and TTK joined the NASE programme and are now welcoming applications from international students during the current recruitment period.

Students are admitted to the NASE training programme through a competitive application process. Those accepted will become Szent-Györgyi Students, gaining valuable support for their academic careers.

  • Upload the following documents in PDF format (max. 1 MB per file; reduce the file size if necessary) *:
    • Personal Statement (max. 4000 characters)
      • File name format: PS + your surname + your first name.pdf (e.g., PSSzentGyorgyiAlbert.pdf)
    • Europass CV (https://europass.europa.eu/en)
      • File name format: CV + your surname + your first name.pdf (e.g., CVSzentGyorgyiAlbert.pdf)
    • Proof of high school competition achievements in biology and/or chemistry (optional, merge into one PDF):

    • English Language Certificate (optional)
      • File name format: AN + your surname + your first name.pdf (e.g., ANSzentGyorgyiAlbert.pdf)
