Please read below the message sent by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing, regarding residency administration.
Requirements for submitting applications:
- you can apply for a residence permit for study purposes (study) (training i.e. educational is not appropriate)
- starting the renewal process via EnterHungary is compulsory, at the earliest 45 days before the expiry of the current residence permit – single renewal
- payment for the service – 24.000 HUF for issue, 23.000 HUF for extension
- certificate of student status not older than 30 days
- proof of payment of tuition fees
- official credit transcript in case of extension
- declaration of actual accommodation
- proof of livelihood income
- health insurance – tuition fees cover this
- passport photo (print out the first page of the application, paste the photo in the space indicated, sign in the frame below and upload it back to EnterHungary)
- you have 15 days after uploading to appear at the customer service
- bring your valid passport, residence permit
In addition, students who are not on the roster sent prior should not go to the customer service in person because in these cases, they are unable to guarantee priority, as the students’ applications are not pre-screened and accepted, which is the main purpose of the reserved slots for Semmelweis students.
