Please read below the requirements that must be met in order for you to receive your scholarship from the University, which you are eligible for.
Scholarship payments will only be made in Hungarian Forints, through the Neptun system!
Hungarian bank accounts
- You must upload the banking details into the Neptun system yourself, in the finances > settings menu.
- Make sure that the “foreign” box is not ticked.
- Enter your bank account number in the 3*8 number format indicated and click save.
- Click on the + button next to your newly added bank account number and make sure that the “make default” option is greyed out. If not, click on it.
IBAN (international) bank accounts
- Make sure that the account in question is able to receive Hungarian Forints.
- You must upload the banking details into the Neptun system yourself, in the finances > settings menu.
- Tick the “foreign” box.
- Fill out the bank account number and SWIFT code fields and click save.
- Click on the + button next to your newly added bank account number and make sure that the “make default” option is greyed out. If not, click on it.
- Send an e-mail to your registrar with the name and address of the bank associated with your bank account.
In case of an international bank account, you must be the bank account owner!
