Nurses are dedicated health professionals in the service of health preservation, promotion and care for those who are ill or unable to care for themselves. They are dedicated to easing physical pain by observing and monitoring the patient’s condition, administering drugs and contributing to rehabilitation. They play a key role in alleviating mental burden by providing emotional support and communicating with patients and relatives clearly and with empathy.

Through a multidisciplinary curriculum, nursing students will learn how to organize, manage and supervise tasks related to internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics-gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, anesthesiology, intensive nursing and primary care. They will be able to efficiently work together with physicians while performing healing and nursing activities and assist examinations. Graduate nurses will master the skills needed to provide care for all age groups from premature babies to elderly patients taking their special needs into consideration, to prepare nursing diagnoses and prioritize tasks as well as to participate in planning, developing and implementing health care and social services.Duration of the program: 4 years/8 semesters
