Január 28-án tartotta meg „Management of the hypodontia patient” című előadását Prof. Dr. Igor Blum a Fogpótlástani Klinika belső továbbképzésének keretei között. Blum Professzor Úr a King’s College London Helyreállító és Alapellátó Fogászati Tanszékének intézetvezetője. Fogorvosi diplomáját 1995-ben szerezte a Semmelweis Egyetemen, majd ezután külföldön folytatta munkásságát. Keddi előadásában betekintést adott a veleszületett foghiányos páciensek kezelésének legmodernebb protokolljaiba, majd saját tapasztalatain keresztül mutatta be a legújabb konzerváló fogászati és fogpótlástani eljárásokat.Az előadást követően Prof. Dr. Hermann Péter Rektorhelyettes Úr és Prof. Dr. Gerber Gábor Dékán Úr átadták Prof. Dr. Igor Blum számára a „Visiting Professor” címet elismerő oklevelet, méltányolva ezzel a Fogorvostudományi Karhoz fűződő tudományos és oktatói tevékenységét, valamint szoros szakmai együttműködését.

Prof. Dr. Igor Blum Awarded the Title of „Visiting Professor” at Semmelweis University! 🦷🎓
On January 28, Prof. Dr. Igor Blum delivered a lecture titled „Management of the Hypodontia Patient” as part of the postgraduate training program of the Department of Prosthodontics. Professor Blum is the Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Primary Care Dentistry at King’s College London. He obtained his dental degree from Semmelweis University in 1995 before continuing his professional career abroad.
In his Tuesday lecture, he provided insights into the latest protocols for managing patients with hypodontia and showcased advanced restorative and prosthodontic procedures through his own clinical experiences.
Following the lecture, Prof. Dr. Péter Hermann, Vice-Rector, and Prof. Dr. Gábor Gerber, Dean, presented Prof. Dr. Igor Blum with a certificate recognizing his „Visiting Professor” award. This honor acknowledges his academic and educational contributions to the Faculty of Dentistry at Semmelweis University, as well as his strong professional collaboration with the institution.
