Two Semmelweis University professors have received the Batthyány-Strattmann László prize on the occasion of Semmelweis Day at the Pesti Vigadó. The recognitions were presented by Dr. Miklós Kásler, Minister of Human Resources and Dr. Ildikó Horváth, State Secretary for Health.

Dr. Éva Ágnes Ádám (Professor Emerita, retired professor of the Institute of Medical Microbiology) and Dr. Zoltán Sápi (Deputy Director of the 1st Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research) received the Batthyány-Strattmann László prize in recognition of their outstanding performance and professional work in the development of healthcare.

Four people were presented with the Semmelweis prize in recognition of their high-quality, outstanding professional work in the area of healthcare. Dr. Miklós Kásler (Minister of Human Resources) and Dr. Ildikó Horváth (State Secretary for Health) presented 24 Batthyány-Strattmann László prizes and 33 minister’s certificates of appreciation.
