The Department of Pulmonology and the Institute of Behavioural Sciences of Semmelweis University prepared a useful material entitled “Information in case of COVID-19 symptoms: what should we do?”. Besides providing several useful information, the prepared material also highlights how people should handle certain COVID-19 symptoms at home, and it also lists the symptoms in the case of which immediate medical assistance and the calling of ambulance are required.

The material prepared by the collaboration of the Department of Pulmonology and the Institute of Behavioural Sciences of Semmelweis University provides an answer to the following questions: what people should do at home in case of symptoms suggestive of COVID-19; what people should do before PCR testing; when it is required to call an ambulance; where people can receive emotional support. Besides providing several useful information, the prepared material also highlights how people should handle certain COVID-19 symptoms at home, it emphasizes the importance of taking vitamin C and D and their recommended dosage, as well as the significant role of enough fluid intake and rest. It also calls the attention to symptoms in the case of which immediate medical assistance and the calling of ambulance are required. The material altogether lists 9 different symptom groups, starting from severe, increasing dyspnea and shortness of breath to persistent, increasing vomiting, diarrhea.
