The second annual International TDK Conference was held at Semmelweis University on February 13-15, in parallel with the traditional Students’ Scientific Association (TDK) Conference. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Béla Merkely, president of the TDK Council, related that 53 young researchers from 14 universities around the world came to this year’s conference. Twenty-one Semmelweis University students participated in the Conference, with an additional 32 students arriving from abroad, including Moscow, Košice, Warsaw, Heidelberg, and Rotterdam.
Dr. Béla Merkely emphasised that the International TDK Conference was made possible through the support of the Magister programme, which assists young researchers to step into the world of science and launch their careers.
Mihail Blagonravov (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia) held the Conference’s opening presentation, entitled “Human biorhythms and their disorders.”
