The Junior Prima Prize was established in 2007 as an extension of the Prima Primissima Foundation. The goal of the Prize is to discover the nation’s young talent (under 30), and provide them with the conditions necessary for their work. In the five years since its foundation, the Junior Prima Prize in Hungarian Teaching and Public Education has recognised the activities of 43 teachers and 7 organisations. Nominations may be made by professional organisations, university rectors and former awardees of the Junior Prima and Prima Primissima prizes in this same category.
