Four distinguished individuals were decorated at this year’s Doctor Honoris Causa ceremony which took place on November 12 in the University’s Semmelweis Szalon.
Dr. Jörg Weidenhammer, Managing Director of the Asklepios Medical School Hamburg received the title of honorary senator, marking the second time the University has conferred this special distinction.
Honorary doctorates were conferred upon Prof. Hartmut P. H. Neumann from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Dr. Constantin Copotoiu, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Targu Mures and Prof. István Boldogh from the University of Texas.
