Almost 1,000 students and lecturers were skating at Semmelweis Ice Carnival

Nearly 1,000 participants visited the City Park Ice Rink to take part at the 16th Semmelweis Ice Carnival. The event was organized by the Students’ Union (HÖK). Despite the unpleasant weather, many Hungarian and foreign students and lecturers were skating there from all of the faculties of Semmelweis University.

15 of the skaters were competing in the costume contest. The first prize was won by the group called “Laboratory assistant and his mice”, the second winner was the Black Widow and the third one dressed as Frida Kahlo. The music was provided by two medical students, DJ. The Ice Carnival was on until dawn.
