On behalf of the citizens of Semmelweis University, dr. Béla Merkely, the rector of Semmelweis University, expresses his condolences on the tragic and inconceivable events that took place at our partner institute, Charles University in Prague. We offer on behalf of everyone our deepest sympathies to all the bereaved families, to the students, professors and workers of the university in these difficult times and wish the victims a speedy recovery.
