Semmelweis students, researchers, teachers and administrative colleagues can now collaborate with nine European universities thanks to the opportunities offered by EUniWell (the European University for Well-Being).

In January 2023, the European University for Well-Being invited a new partner to join the Alliance: The University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) is one of the oldest universities in continuous operation in the world. Founded in 1495, its two campuses are both located in cities that have been designated World Heritage Sites by UNESCO: Santiago de Compostela and Lugo. With its unique cultural heritage and distinction as the best university in Spain for the discipline of Environmental Sciences in 2022, as well as its leading role in health sciences and expertise in teacher education, which includes integrated research capacities, USC will make fruitful contributions to EUniWell’s Research Arenas.

The main objective of EUniWell is to provide an opportunity to build international cooperation, professional collaborations and knowledge exchanges between partner universities.

Representatives of Semmelweis University will hold an information forum on EUniWell opportunities on 9 February 2023 between 13:30 and 14:30, and all interested members of Semmelweis are welcome to attend. The online event is in Hungarian and requires registration.

With its new partner, the association EUniWell (European University for Well-being) has now  ten member universities. In addition to Semmelweis University, it also includes the universities of Birmingham, Konstanz, Cologne, Florence, Murcia, Leiden, Linnaeus, Nantes, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
