Dr. Éva Szabó (Vice-rector for strategy and development, head of the Department of Conductive Pedagogy) and dr. Andrea Zsebe (dean of the Pető András Faculty) received awards in recognition of their extraordinary and exemplary contributions in their respective fields of expertise. The awards were granted by dr. József Bódis (State Secretary responsible for knowledge and innovation management, Ministry for Innovation and Technology) and dr. Balázs Hankó (Deputy State Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology).

Around forty university professors and academic leaders have been awarded for their successful and extraordinary academic work in higher education. Among the awardees are two healthcare professionals of Semmelweis University.

Dr. Éva Szabó has been awarded with the “Apáczai Csere János Prize” in recognition of her academic work and efforts in special education and scientific research.

The “Trefort Ágoston” Prize has been awarded to dr. Andrea Zsebe (dean of the Pető András Faculty) in recognition of her long-time, extraordinary professional work in education.

The awards were granted by dr. József Bódis (State Secretary responsible for knowledge and innovation management, Ministry for Innovation and Technology) and dr. Balázs Hankó (Deputy State Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology) and dr. László Palkovics (Minister for Innovation and Technology).
