What is the main difference between these two pathogens? Which of these two is responsible for causing an upset stomach, tonsillitis or pimples? The answer is revealed in the new episode of the animation series of Semmelweis University.

Our body has to defend itself against millions of attacks on a daily basis, however we don’t sense much due to the efficiency of our immune system. Pathogens fall into different categories: prions, certain species of fungi, viruses and bacteria. People tend to confuse the most common viruses and bacteria responsible for causing infections, which may pose a risk to human health.

The third episode of the animated documentary series about health promotion shows the main differences between viruses and bacteria. We can see how viruses work and what bacteria do in our immune system.
