Semmelweis University had the opportunity to introduce its foreign language training programmes at the ICIEP 2017 International Educational Forum and Fair organized between February 17-20, 2017 in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. Besides the more than 10 Hungarian universities, Tempus Public Foundation, the Ministry of Human Capacities as well as the Hungarian National Trading House were also represented at the forum.
The attendance at the International Educational Forum and Fair was financed and managed by Tempus Public Foundation via grant applications, with the help of which the participating universities had the opportunity to introduce their training programmes, to reinforce their current Russian relations and to search for new collaborative partners. Potential students and visitors were able to ask their questions during both the forum and the fair. Semmelweis University was represented by Marianna Kovács, Project Coordinator at the Directorate of International Relations, who said that many students were interested in getting information about the training programmes of our institution. Ms. Kovács has met the representatives of several Russian universities such as Kursk State Medical University, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and Ural State Medical University, which are all partners of Semmelweis University, and with whom we intend to further develop our relationship in the framework of signed cooperation agreements.
