The Senate of Semmelweis University has voted in support of Dr. Zsolt Radák’s application for the post of dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences (TSK), with 32 votes for, 1 vote against, and 1 abstention. The new dean received his official appointment letter from Dr. Ágoston Szél, rector of Semmelweis University, this past Friday.
Earlier, the TSK’s Faculty Council had unanimously supported Dr. Radák, the current acting dean, who was the sole applicant for the position.
Dr. Zsolt Radák is a university professor, department head, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and had been Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences since 2000.
