A delegation of the Swedish Parliament led by Deputy Speaker Mr Jan Björkman visited Semmelweis University on 9 October 2008. Rector of the University Dr Tivadar Tulassay, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Dr Judit Mészáros and Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Dr József Tihanyi met the delegation to exchange views on the development of higher education in Europe in general and on the Bologna Process in particular. The discussion was followed by an informal meeting with Swedish students of Semmelweis University.
