PATH

The PATH project was initiated by the European Regional Office of the WHO in 2003. PATH Project -Performance Assessment Tool for quality improvement in Hospitals- offers quality assessment and result evaluation and quality assurance tools and methods for hospitals
The Path system goes beyond the traditional economic productivity vs clinical efficiency analysis and developed a comprehensive system including clinical efficiency, efficacy, workforce orientation, reactive leadership, safety and patent centerd caregiving-
Within the framework of PAtH a hospital benchmarking system was also realized, with the aim of disseminating good practices.
