The healthcare industry is undergoing a rapid digital transformation, and with it comes a wave of innovative solutions. However, many of these ground-breaking ideas often struggle to make their way into the market or achieve widespread adoption due to structural challenges. This is where the DIGIVITALITY project steps in, offering a helping hand to accelerate the entry of healthcare innovations into the healthcare sector and facilitate their scaling up.

The core mission of the DIGIVITALITY project is to eliminate the roadblocks hindering the path of digital health innovations. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the project focuses on streamlining the collaboration between various key players in the healthcare ecosystem. This collaborative effort involves start-ups, medical technology companies, hospitals, and innovation hubs. DIGIVITALITY will develop a blueprint for a fast-track, multi-dimensional feasibility validation process, whereas selected digital health innovations in parallel undergo product & technology development, business case development, medical-clinical feasibility validation, and early phase health technology assessment (eHTA).

The Health Management Training Centre of the Faculty of Health and Public Services of Semmelweis University is one of the 13 organizations from 6 countries that are working together to shape the future of healthcare in Central Europe, making it more accessible and efficient by helping great ideas to reach implementation in health-care.

The project started in July 2023 and will last until December 2025 under the lead of DEX Innovation Centre.

The project is co-funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE programme of the European Union.
