ECOQUIP
27/03/2012 – 26/10/2016
About the project
EcoQUIP is a European network project (2012-2016) aimed at improving the efficiency, quality and environmental sustainability of healthcare through the procurement of innovative new solutions. It builds on previous pilot projects that demonstrated the transformational benefits of ‘innovation procurement’ methodologies. Six hospitals in England, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands and Poland are engaged in leader-led projects to identify and demonstrate innovative solutions to specific challenges that can then be more widely adopted by others. EcoQUIP also includes a series of annual innovation procurement workshops aimed at mobilising the procurement power of hospitals and healthcare buyers in areas a common need.
