From August 4 to 29, 2025, a group of 14 students from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) participated in a one-month short program at Semmelweis University. During their stay, the students completed clinical rotations across several departments, including the Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology, the Department of Surgery, Transplantation and Gastroenterology, the Városmajor Heart and Vascular Center, the Department of Neurology, the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The program offered the students a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in diverse fields of medicine, while also fostering academic and cultural exchange between the two universities. Beyond their professional training, the group also had the chance to experience Hungarian culture. On August 20, Hungary’s national holiday, Saint Stephen’s Day, the students joined cultural programs and celebrations, which offered them an opportunity to connect with local traditions and history while strengthening the bonds between the two universities.

The closing ceremony took place on August 29, when certificates were awarded to the participants. In his speech, Levente Vágó, Deputy Head of the Directorate of International Relations and Alumni Affairs, highlighted the significance of the program:
