The aggregate list of the QS World University Ranking for the academic year 2015/16 was published, including four Hungarian universities. Similarly to previous years, Semmelweis University is listed among the institutions in the field of life sciences and medicine, ranking 316th. Another Hungarian university on this list was the University of Debrecen ranking 388th.
This internationally renowned list was created based on the comparison four factors, which are the following: the reputation of the university, its scientific standing, assessment of the employees, the frequency of the citation the university’s scientific works and h-index citations.
The world university rankings have been released since 2004 by Quacquarelli Symonds, a company based in London. The aggregate list for the academic year 2015/16 includes four Hungarian universities: a University of Szeged, Eötvös Lóránd University, University of Debrecen and Corvinus University.
