The MVM Group has donated a total of fifty million forints (approx. 178 thousand euros) to Hungarian paediatric institutions, of which Semmelweis University’s 1st and 2nd Departments of Paediatrics received ten million forints (approx. 35 thousand euros) each.

In keeping with tradition, the donations were presented at the annual Fun Day, an event also organised by the MVM Group, where children living with disabilities or requiring long-term hospital treatment can play together with their already cured, healthy peers.

In addition to viewing performances by various bands and children’s dance groups, the young attendees also had the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts activities, while in the Fairytale Forestthey took part in playful awareness-raising activities, becoming familiar with the most important sources of energy, the significance of conscious energy use, and the basics of traffic safety.

Around one hundred volunteers from the Hungarian Electricity Company helped out at the event.
