FP7 – SP1 Cooperation
Collaborative project
01/01/2010 – 30/04/2014
About the project
The EuroHOPE project evaluated, through a microeconomic disease-based approach, the performance of European health care systems in terms of outcomes, quality, use of resources and costs. The project used the available databases as well as collect additional data on healthrelated quality of life measures (enabling Quality Adjusted Life Years as an outcome measure) and patient satisfaction (including expectations).
The focal point of EuroHOPE is the evaluation of five key public health problems or diseases:
- acute myocardial infarction
- stroke
- hip fracture
- breast cancer
- low-birthweight infants
