Our director, Dr. Miklós Szócska, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Public Administration at Semmelweis University (SE EKK), and Dr. András Koltay, President of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH), have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen professional relations between the healthcare and infocommunications sectors and to advance consumer decision-making and digital competencies.
The agreement emphasizes promoting data-driven health research and media literacy, aiming to enhance public health awareness in the era of artificial intelligence by better informing society.
The two institutions will jointly conduct research and organize professional events as part of this collaboration. They are committed to fostering the integration of information and communication technologies into healthcare, thereby supporting the widespread adoption of digital services.
SE EKK and NMHH are dedicated to advancing data-driven healthcare innovations and exploring the intersection of ICT and healthcare. The partnership’s long-term goal is to integrate cutting-edge technologies into Hungarian healthcare practices, making modern healthcare and digital services more accessible to the public.
