Dear NCs and LCs all around Europe,

As I mentioned in the last NC OLM I have a favor to ask you – EMSA Poland has partnered with the Organizing Commitee for the International Conference of Natural and Medical Sciences, Young Scientists, PhD Students and Students in Lublin, Poland. Please find the gist of it below:

The Conference with training workshops will be held on 1-3 December 2017 in Lublin Conference Centre in Lublin. The event is addressed to young scientists up to 35 years of age, students, and PhD students of natural and medical sciences.

The Conference has received Honorary Patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Professor MD, DSc Stanisław Czuczwar.

Participants of the Conference may present works about medicine or natural sciences. Every presenting participant will be able to participate in free training workshops, publish their work and to cooperate with publishing companies.

Additionally, the event may interest people who want to gain knowledge, points for scholarship, or points for qualification procedures for doctoral (PhD) studies.

I find this as great chance for fellow young scientists and wanted to share this opportunity with you. The conference itself hold the international status, which means that you can easily get recognition for presenting your work – and as you’ve seen it’s covering a very broad range of topics so you’re free to apply even with papers that tread on the fine line of medical sciences. Location wise – Lublin is a beautiful city that both has it’s own airport but is also well connected with cities like Warsaw, making it a very cheap travel destination for majority of European countries – it’s usually easy to find a return connection for less than 150 EUR total. The cost of accomodation and expenses in Lublin is also very affordable.

The OC has agreed that members applying via EMSA will have a greater chance to be accepted for the conference – so seize that opportunity!

Below you will find a couple of flyers and promotional materials – please share them with your FMO members, Universities, Student groups – whoever you see fit. Attached you will find the english version of the flyer and also rules of applying and participation. The Drive link will lead you to folders with materials in different languages – English, German, Spanish, French, Lithuanian, Russian and Ukrainian – they might come in handy. For some there are even suggested ways to travel – check them out.

The deadline for the applications is 3.11.2017 – so don’t lose your chance to boost your career as a scientist!

IMPORTANT: Applications are to be filled out in a document format (you can find them in respective folders mentioned above, also attached to this email) and sent to the OC via email – more information on the webpage of the conference itself!
