Country-level Action plan on public financing of digital Healthcare solutions
The action plan phrased 4 main recommendations:
– a website shall be created that contains clear instructions for digital health technology developers about the public financing options and respective pathways and criteria for public funding in Hungary, the national information shall be presented on a common website in the EU, and the national criteria of public financing shall be harmonised within the EU
– the legal framework for the reimbursement of digital health technologies shall be elaborated in Hungary,
– the next revision of the HTA guideline shall address the digital health technologies explicitly with a special regard to AI solutions, and
– the communication between the national e-health system and the digital health technologies shall be allowed, and the methods of communications shall be harmonised at the EU level.
