The third Thursday of November is also known as the “Great Smokeout Day“, which fell on 19 November this year. Tobacco control is a priority for our institute and our experts. In this context, we are proud to announce that our colleague Dr. Melinda Pénzes gave a presentation on tobacco industry tactics affecting Hungarian youth and other domestic communities at the international event entitled EuroHealthNet Country Exchange Visit on Curbing the Consumption of tobacco and Nicotine-based products in Europe, held in Budapest on 20 November 2024.
The National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy (Nemzeti Népegészségügyi és Gyógyszerészeti Központ, NNGYK) hosted the closed professional event.
