4. Interdiszciplináris Magyar-Lengyel Tudományos Konferencia és Workshop

A Semmelweis Egyetem Belgyógyászati és Onkológiai Klinika, Onkológiai Részlegének Gyógyszer- és Betegbiztonság Kutatócsoportja, a Semmelweis Egyetem Megelőző Orvostani és Népegészségtani Intézetével, valamint a krakkói Jagelló Egyetem Gyógyszerésztudományi Karának Szervetlen és Gyógyszeranalitikai Tanszékével együttműködésben rendezi meg a 4. Interdiszciplináris Magyará-Lengyel Tudományos Konferenciát és Workshopot.
A rendezvény központi témája az egészség, a funkcionális képességek és az életminőség megőrzése az élet különböző szakaszaiban. A konferencia célja, hogy alkalmat teremtsen a tudományos eszmecserére a klinikai orvoslás, a népegészségtan, a gyógyszerészeti tudományok, az onkológia, a farmakovigilancia és a betegbiztonság területén dolgozó kutatók, oktatók, orvosok és fiatal tudósok számára.
A fő szakmai program 2026. június 19-én kerül megrendezésre a Semmelweis Egyetem Rektori Épületében található Semmelweis Szalonban.

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming scientific event of 4th HungarianPolish Scientific Conference and Workshop – Strength and Health at Every Age organized by the Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety Research Group, Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology, Oncology Unit, Semmelweis University, in cooperation with the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Semmelweis University, and the Department of Inorganic and Pharmaceutical Analytics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Krakow, Poland. The conference will take place in the iconic Semmelweis Salon, located close to the beautiful and historic city center of Budapest.
Strength and Health at Every Age
In the context of increasing life expectancy and the rising importance of longevity, maintaining health and functional capacity across the lifespan has become a key challenge of modern medicine. Healthy ageing is not only about extending years of life, but also about preserving quality of life, resilience, and independence.
This topic is closely linked to major public health concerns, including oncological diseases, where early detection, innovative therapies, and long-term patient management play a crucial role. At the same time, patient safety and pharmacovigilance are essential to ensure that therapeutic interventions remain effective and safe, particularly in ageing populations with complex medical needs. Addressing these challenges requires a multidisciplinary approach, integrating clinical medicine, public health, pharmaceutical sciences, and translational research. The conference aims to provide a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and exploring innovative strategies to support strength and health at every stage of life.

Abstract submission:
Participants are kindly invited to submit their abstracts to this email address: drugresearch.oncology@semmelweis.hu
Abstract submission remains open on a rolling basis, depending on the availability of presentation slots and the editorial timeline of the conference booklet. All submitted abstracts will be evaluated and accepted by the Scientific Committee.
Publication opportunity:
A book with an ISBN will be published, containing all accepted abstracts submitted to the workshops. An abstract template will be provided.
Young Scientists’ Competition:
A competition will be organized for young scientists (PhD students, graduate and undergraduate students).
Awards will be given for:
- The best oral presentation
- The best electronic poster
