Pál Maurovich Horvat is an associate Professor of Cardiology and Radiology, director of the Semmelweis University’s Medical Imaging Centre and chairman of the Department of Radiology, he is the vice president for CT of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and the vice president of the Hungarian Society of Cardiology.
Dr. Maurovich Horvat graduated from the Semmelweis University in 2006, which was followed by a three-year research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He studied clinical effectiveness at the Harvard University, School of Public Health, where he graduated and received his Master of Public Health (MPH) diploma in 2012.
He has been awarded by the prestigious Momentum Grant of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2013 and 2019. He is Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2020.
