The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy is the leading pharmaceutical research center in Hungary. Thanks to the dynamic development of our Department, we are now recruiting for the position of an independent research group leader, for which we welcome applications from experienced researchers with a PhD.

Research Group Leader (research fellow)
Main tasks and responsibilities of the job:
- Planning, developing and coordinating an independent research topic in any area of pharmacology and its related research activities.
- Organising and leading an independent research group.
- Coordinating the implementation and evaluation of the experimental work of the research group.
- Publishing scientific research results in high impact journals.
- Innovation activities, potential innovation protection.
- Actively participating in the international scientific public life.
- Establishing and maintaining international research and industry collaborations.
- Submitting research grant applications.
Job requirements:
- PhD degree in the field of natural sciences (medical pharmacist, biologist, bioengineer, medical doctor, etc.)
- Advanced English communication, presentation and teaching skills.
- Basic knowledge in quality control management.
- Extensive experience in preparing and delivering scientific presentations.
- Data management and statistical knowledge.
- Ability to work in groups and individually.
- High degree of flexibility and workload capacity.
