Postgraduate training
In February 2025, the Institute of Languages for Specific Purposes is launching a new program in English: the Scientific Editor postgraduate training is a 100% online, 2-semester-long program, focusing on skills and competencies necessary for preparing and editing scientific journals, articles, presentations, coursebooks, theses, educational materials in both printed and online formats. Students of the program study academic writing and scientific editing skills and familiarise themselves with scientific terminology and genre-specific knowledge.
Length of the training: 2 semesters
Schedule:
– Friday 3pm-8pm EST
– Saturday 8am-3pm EST
Admission requirements:
– BA/BSc degree/qualification in medicine, health sciences, social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, economic sciences, law, sports sciences, agriculture, or engneering.
– C1 complex English language certificate or passing our pre-admission proficiency test.
Application deadline: 10 January, 2025
Tuition fee: 1000 Euro / semester (payable via Neptun)
Registration fee: 9000 HUF (payable via bank transfer)
