Dear Students,
We invite you to participate with one of your foreign languages in IX International Language Olympiad Medicine and Languages: the Crossroad of Cultures which will take place in Voronezh, Russia, in 2021-2022. The Olympiad consists of two stages.
Stage I: Medical Essay Competition
Essays should be written in foreign language (Russian/ German/French/ English) and submitted to an official Olympiad email vsmuburdenko.mik.2021@mail.ru. The essay submission deadline is JANUARY 31, 2022. The results are published on 10 March 2022 at the official VSMU site and the official site of the Olympiad https://medicine-and-lang-vsmu.jimdofree.com/. The finalists (participants with the highest scores) are invited to Final (Stage II).
Stage II: Medicine and Languages Final – April, 7-8, 2022.
The Final is an on-site language competition involving Oral Interview, Reading Tests and Listening Tests. The languages are English, German and French. The Medicine and Languages Jury involves language experts from foreign languages departments and universities and medical educators. All the participants will be awarded with Certificates of Participation; the winners will be awarded with Diplomas of I, II, III degree. Participation is free.
