Members of our Institute also participated in the ESC Congress 2026, held in Munich from August 28-31, 2026. Our colleagues presented their latest scientific results in four poster presentations. The research topics covered current questions in cardio-oncology, cardiac fibrosis, cardioprotection, and ischemia/reperfusion injury.
One of the key strengths of the ESC Congress was the close connection between basic research and clinical cardiology. In addition to presenting their own findings, our colleagues had the opportunity to gain insight into the latest directions in cardiovascular research and their clinical relevance.
