Three PhD students from our institute: Ayham Alhaddad, Márk Jakab and Márton Kocsis represented our university at the recently organized 3rd Olympiad of Cardiovascular Medicine conference in Kalamata, Greece.
Although they were unable to take advantage of the famously beautiful coast of Kalamata due to the harsh weather at the end of April, the scientific program made up for it. The most prominent figures in cardiovascular research were present at the prestigious conference, providing our young researchers with an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends, research directions and methods. Last but not least, they represented themselves on the international stage with their poster presentations, introducing our research groups and their research topics, which also provided a perfect opportunity to build international relationships.
We will meet again in Greece in four years, at the 4th Cardiovascular Olympiad!
