Our department’s staff participated in the 9th Onco-Cardiology Days Continuing Education Congress, which was held in Kecskemét in April 2026. The annual event organized by the Hungarian Onco-Cardiology Working Group Association is one of the most significant professional forums in Hungarian cardio-oncology.
Dr. Zoltán Varga, head of the Cardio-Oncology and Cardio-Immunology Research Group, was an invited speaker in the scientific program and gave a presentation entitled “Top Preclinical Onco-Cardiology Publications 2025/26”, in which he reviewed and evaluated the most significant preclinical cardio-oncology scientific publications of the past period.
Participation in the congress provided an opportunity to actively participate in Hungarian professional public life, to share current research results, and to exchange ideas with leading Hungarian experts in the field.
