The Neurocardiology working group with Angelique Larose as the first author and Dr Gábor Mórotz as communicating author has published a review paper in the columns of Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences. The article discusses the role of the lemur tail kinase (LMTK) protein family in intracellular transport processes, their function in synapses and memory formation, and pays special attention to the role of these proteins in neurodegenerative diseases.
