Unlike traditional fluorescence microscopy, Leica’s Thunder Imager module allows us to:
-
Optimal imaging of large slice thickness samples by software removal of out-of-focus light
-
maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of the imaging system, thus providing the detail required for further image analysis
-
provide near confocal microscopic quality images, but in a faster and simpler way
Our microscope can now be used not only for conventional fluorescence microscopy and laser microdissection, but also for fast and easy acquisition of near-confocal microscopy-quality images.
