In accordance with the Statutes of the Students’ Union, the Election Officer of the Semmelweis University Students’ Union (SE HÖK) hereby announces the 2026 election of the Delegates’ Assembly.
Pursuant to Chapter IX: Annex 4, Article 76, Section (165), the election consists of a nomination period and a voting period.
The nomination period lasts from 11 October, 2025, 8:00 AM until 27 October, 2025, 2:00 PM. To become nominated, one must submit the documents listed below at 1089 Budapest, Nagyvárad tér 4. (Nagyvárad tér Theoretical Building, NET), in the Students’ Center, office number 3, addressed to the Election Officer.
The requirements to become nominated are fulfilled by submitting an application in accordance with this call for applications.
The application for becoming a nominee at the election of the Delegates’ Assembly must include:
a) an application sheet,
b) a certificate confirming the student’s active status, no older than 15 days,
c) a Curriculum Vitae (CV),
d) a motivational letter,
e) a statement in accordance with Article 25 of the Statutes,
f) the recommendations of at least 2% of the active undergraduate student body at Semmelweis University, which, according to OSAP statistics regarding the second semester of the academic year of 2026/27, is equal to 273 students.
The stamped, official application sheet and sheets for collecting recommendations can be requested in the Students’ Center’s office number 3, on workdays, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Every applicant must verify each page of their application requested above with their signature.
The voting period starts online, after the registration of the nominees, via the Neptun System. The first day of the election may not be held sooner than the 8th day after the end of the nomination period.
All students of Semmelweis University, if they have an active student status and filed their application until the deadline, can be elected as a Representative of the Delegates’ Assembly.
The elected Representatives of the Delegates’ Assembly may exercise voting rights during the next presidential election of the Students’ Union.
In accordance with the Statutes, 10 mandates will be distributed during the upcoming elections.
