The Conference of the Students’ Scientific Association (TDK), Ice Carnival, Semester Opening. February was as short as it was eventful. Join us to learn about the details! 😎
The Conference of the Students’ Scientific Association was held between 7th and 8th February this year, where those present could listen to countless interesting and valuable presentations. The announcement of its results and the awards ceremony can be re-watched on the Youtube channel of the Semmelweis Students’ Union (HÖK). Congratulations to all participants for their fantastic presentations, we hope you achieve further successes in the future! 💙
Not even a week later, students could enjoy themselves and skate together during the Ice Carnival on 13th February. Fans of winter sports could appreciate the conditions given by the City Park Ice Rink, which were enhanced by an ice disco and races. ⛸️
As the saying goes, “every beginning is difficult”, and that of the semester is no different. These initial difficulties were the ones which the Semester Opening party alleviated. The event was hosted in the Akvárium club, and featured some of the most notable domestic performers, with the likes of BSW, Nótár Mary, Jauri and Viktória Metzker taking care of the atmosphere of the night. 💃🏻🕺
February may now be behind us, but we won’t be left without events in March! 😍
The now-traditional Carnival is to be hosted on March 8th, the Semmelweis Beerpong Tournament will return, along with NET Running, closing off with Charity Days and perhaps Hungary’s best-known stand-up comedy club, Dumaszínház. It’s going to be worth tagging along with us, and following the social media accounts of Semmelweis Students’ Union for the latest news❗️🥳
