According to Chapter VIII: Annex 3, Section 72 (1) of the Statutes of the Semmelweis University Students’ Union, the Election Officier shall call the elections and decide on the deadlines to be set.
According to Section 76 (5) of Chapter IX: Annex 4, Election Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Election Regulations), the election period includes the nomination period (application period) and the voting period.
Pursuant to Article 84 (3) of the Election Regulations, the nomination period shall commence not earlier than the 15th day after a new election was announced, and shall last for at least 7 days. Pursuant to Section (6) of the same Article, the deadline for submission shall be at least 22 days after the date of the call for applications.
The Election Officier extends the 2023 election for the Delegates’ Assembly. The nomination period is from 10th November 2023, 8:00 until 23rd November 2023, 12:00.
