Our Department was represented by two teams at the 16th Balaton Supermarathon, held between 26 February and 1 March 2026. The head of our Department, Péter Ferdinandy, together with Viktória Barna, completed the four-day, 194 km distance, while Viktória Tóth and Sándor Zsidai participated in the two-day, 94 km relay stage.
The weather conditions were wonderful throughout all four days, and our runners returned home with great experiences and excellent results. Péter and his running partner completed the full distance in a total time of 20 hours and 44 minutes, finishing 23rd in their category, while Viki and her teammate achieved 11th place with a time of 9 hours and 15 minutes.
