The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy once again closed the past year in keeping with its traditions, with an intimate Christmas celebration that provided an opportunity to reflect together and to celebrate the year’s achievements in a fitting manner.

The festive event was opened by the holiday address of Prof. Dr. Péter Ferdinandy, Director of the Institute. In his speech, he highlighted the professional dedication of the institute’s community, the successes achieved in education and research, and expressed his gratitude for the staff’s high-quality work throughout the year. His words not only summarized the accomplishments of the past year but also reinforced the importance of the institute’s community strength and collaboration.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of the “best of the year,” during which colleagues who had made outstanding contributions through their professional performance and teaching activities were honored for their exceptional role in the institute’s development.

The festive atmosphere was enhanced by a performance from the institute’s choir, whose heartwarming presentation created a special ambiance. The shared musical experience further strengthened the sense of togetherness and provided a worthy framework for closing the year.

Special congratulations were also extended to colleagues who received state, ministerial, or university awards during the past year. These distinctions represent not only individual achievements but also confirmation of the institute’s professional excellence and its national and international recognition.

The event once again highlighted that the Institute of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy stands out not only as a center of science and education but also as a cohesive and supportive community. The festive gathering served as a worthy conclusion to a year rich in achievements and an inspiring beginning to the new challenges ahead.
