This summer, the VitaKids health camp for the children of our employees was held again, offering meaningful, active and exciting recreation for the lower and upper grades. The aim of the camps, which are implemented within the framework of the Family-Friendly University Program, is to support working parents by providing high-quality supervision for their children during most of the summer break. As part of the camp, the children also visited our institute, where they were introduced to pipetting and had the opportunity to try out our microscopes. 50 children participated in the camp, who were divided into two groups on a rotating basis and were able to learn about the basics of a health-conscious lifestyle – in a playful, experiential way, led by health professionals and conductors.
