Some of our staff took part in their first race. This year we broke a record, with more people representing the Institute at a sporting event than ever before. According to the information provided by the organizer Budapest Sportiroda (BSI) on Sunday, a total of 23,569 runners were registered for 12 distances in the biggest sports event of the spring. In the half-marathon, the participants completed the winding race through the most impressive and world heritage parts of Budapest individually, in pairs or in trios. Nearly 9,000 amateur and professional runners started the 21-kilometer run in beautiful, sunny weather, with the finish line on Margaret Island.
